Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee daily financial operations and strengthen our multi-region accounting framework. The role requires strong expertise in cost center accounting, regional financial reporting, and head office cost allocations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate books of accounts, compliance with tax regulations, and timely management reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Record and manage daily financial transactions across multiple regions.

Maintain region-wise accounting books and prepare consolidated head office financials.

Implement and monitor cost center accounting for all licensed telecom regions.

Perform cost allocations from head office to respective regions, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and general ledger balances.

Monitor and manage accounts receivable/payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Prepare financial reports including:

Region-wise and consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow

Cost allocation statements

Aged receivables/payables analysis

Oversee inventory and network asset accounting; assist in cost and profitability analysis.

Ensure accurate data entry and reporting in ERP systems (Zoho/QuickBooks/SAP/Odoo).

Prepare and submit tax filings (income tax, sales tax, provincial levies) in compliance with applicable laws.

Assist in audits, budgeting, and forecasting exercises.

Provide financial insights to management for regional performance monitoring and decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's/ACCA/CA Inter preferred).

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in telecom/ISP or multi-region companies.

Strong understanding of cost center and regional accounting concepts.

Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Odoo, Tally, Zoho).

Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in telecom or ISP sector accounting.

Familiarity with PTA, SECP, FBR, SRB, and PRA compliance filings.

Experience in intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations across multiple business units.

Knowledge of ERP implementation/migration projects.

Strong regulatory and tax compliance background in the ICT sector.

Ability to design region-wise dashboards and cost analysis reports for management.
