Overview

Provide project management leadership for High Voltage electrical transmission and distribution projects. Obtain customer satisfaction through project execution excellence and actively promoting quality awareness and improvements. Delivery of complete project to agreed schedule within allocated budget, able to multi-task across simultaneous project deliveries, demonstrating effective reporting, financial control, risk, scope & change management.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide Project management leadership for High Voltage Grid Station Turnkey Projects
  • Lead projects through all internal and external processes, and navigate the project life cycle
  • Effectively manage technical teams and suppliers, across multiple large-scale projects and diverse locations
  • Build customer loyalty through project execution excellence and actively promote quality awareness and improvements
  • Deliver complete projects to agreed schedule and budget, multi-task across simultaneous project deliveries, with effective reporting, financial control, risk, scope & change management
  • Engage at sales bid stage to lead/support the commercial and technical teams, contributing to proposals to ensure work is assessed, planned, appropriately estimated and a suitable deal is agreed, with appropriate cost and risks identified to maximize margin
  • Translate customer needs/requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets
  • Manage a network of resources (including contractors) in support of project execution
  • Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy profitability requirements
  • Manage the project budget and timeline and ensure resources are available to complete the project within budget and on time to meet customer obligations
  • Ensure that delivered products and services achieve highest quality and performance levels
  • Negotiate change orders with the customers
Required Qualifications
  • Past experience executing a turnkey High Voltage (132kV, 220kV or higher) Grid station project successfully
  • B.E/BS in Engineering Discipline. Electrical/Electronics Engineering strongly preferred.
  • Master's Degree / PMP Certification will be a plus.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in project management of High Voltage Transmission and Distribution systems.
  • Leadership experience managing teams.
  • Proven track record to manage and resolve project issues throughout full project lifecycle

  • Excellent computer system skills required for cost and schedule reporting (Primavera, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), etc.
