Key Responsibilities:

Some of the responsibilities but are not limited to:

  • Oversee timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, ensuring full compliance with income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws, conduct research, and keep management informed of relevant updates and amendments.
  • Manage communications with tax authorities, including handling audits, responding to notices, and resolving inquiries.
  • Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies, analyze tax impacts on business operations, and support tax-efficient structuring of new projects.
  • Prepare and review tax reports, budgets, and forecasts; monitor variances and identify opportunities for tax cost savings.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide tax advice, improve compliance processes, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tax policies, ensure adherence to internal controls, and support special projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in taxation
  • Strong understanding of local and international tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
