Job description:

As an Assistant Manager-Taxations and Payments, you will be responsible for processing and filing all taxation related matters of the company. Office location is 3 Talwar Clifton -Karachi. Preferred candidates are who can join ASAP.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation and filing of Sales tax return – FBR and SRB

  2. Preparation and filing quarterly withholding statement and annual withholding statement

  3. Preparation and filing of annual Income Tax Return

  4. Response to all type of Tax Notices.

  5. Maintaining the records related to taxes

  6. Providing assistance to Procurement team regarding taxation matters

  7. Correspondence with vendors regarding taxation matters

  8. Sales tax, withholding tax and salary tax reconciliation with accounting records.

  9. Advise to Accounts Payable team for proper deduction of withholding taxes

  10. Correspondence with Vendors and respond to inquiries

  11. Preparation of vendors withholding tax and employee salary tax deduction certificates

  12. Develop strong relationships with tax authorities with capability to interact professionally.

  13. Responsible for tax audits and tax compliances

  14. Compute estimated tax liabilities for the year with respect to each employee

  15. Review and process some of the vendor's payments.

  16. Any other Ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned.

Job Specification:

  1. ACCA / CA Finalist / ICMA/CIMA

  2. 3 – 5 years in relevant function

  3. Excellent communication & negotiation skills

  4. Should be able to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120, Rs140,000.00 per month
