Urban IoT Innovation Specialist

We're seeking a talented and driven Urban IoT Innovation Specialist to spearhead the development of cutting-edge IoT applications for urban environments.

What You'll Do

Design and deploy impactful projects that address real-world challenges in smart city initiatives, including solutions for traffic management, environmental monitoring, energy efficiency, public safety, and more.

Apply your in-depth knowledge of IoT technologies and smart city solutions to innovate for urban transformation and enhance the lives of citizens.

Seamlessly integrate IoT technologies into our platform, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Project Management: Take ownership of project implementation from conception to completion, including design, sensor selection, deployment, testing, and integration.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and delivering exceptional results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Foundation: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or a related field), OR equivalent hands-on experience in IoT development.

IoT Experience: Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience designing or implementing IoT solutions, preferably in a smart city context.

Sensor & Solution Savvy: Demonstrate a strong understanding of smart city sensors (e.g., air quality, traffic, energy), communication protocols (e.g., LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and relevant data analytics.

Communication Skills: Excel in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Possess a natural curiosity, a bias for action, and a passion for leveraging technology to create smarter, more sustainable cities.
