Role and Responsibilities
  • Design and develop infrastructure for modern contentful-based web pages.
  • Design and create content models defining the structure and relationships of content types such as articles, products, images, and videos.
  • Implement visual designs for components and individual pages.
  • Migrate WordPress content to Contentful, mapping it to the data model and automating the process.
  • Investigate and implement improvements to enhance digital platform performance.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, UX/UI designers, and product teams.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries.
  • Optimize components for performance across devices and browsers.
  • Set up infrastructure for Next.js web pages, including CI pipeline and CDN.
  • Prepare proposals and estimates for upcoming work.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines and specifications.
Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years in building sites with CMS, Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue.
  • 8+ years in maintenance and administration.
  • 3+ years creating responsive websites on Contentful.
  • Deep knowledge of Contentful, including content modeling, APIs (RESTful or GraphQL), content types, entries, and assets.
  • Experience integrating third-party services like translation into Contentful.
  • Advanced React.js skills, with knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, or Gatsby.
  • Experience with static HTML and SSR.
  • Understanding of content visualization for web.
  • Extensive experience with React, Hooks, and TypeScript in complex web applications.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Agile development experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
