Regional Finance Manager needed in an Education Group in Hyderabad

RoleThe organization seeks a Regional Financial Manager for India, reporting to the Regional Finance Controller - India. The candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting and control, adhering to strict deadlines, to meet internal and external reporting requirements for all legal entities in India.
Responsibilities- Statutory Control: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain internal control environments.
- Financial Transactions: Review and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to prevent material misstatements.
- Cash Flow & Capex Management: Oversee cash flow and capital expenditure activities.
- Integration & Reporting: Collaborate with the Group finance team to integrate acquired schools into reporting processes.
- Policy Implementation: Implement accounting and group policies.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of accounting and finance experience in a commercial setting. They should be proactive, deadline-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks, driving change from initiation to completion.
Essential Skills- Strong understanding of tax, statutory accounting, and financial control best practices in the region.
- Proficiency in technical accounting, including IFRS.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to set policies and strategic direction.
- Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities, and capable of multitasking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for relationship-building at senior levels and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to balance control with operational freedom for schools.
- International experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
