Regional Finance Analyst needed in an Education Group in Hyderabad

RoleThe organization seeks a Regional Financial Manager - India, reporting to the Regional Finance Controller - India. The candidate will ensure all financial information is accurately controlled and reported within strict deadlines, fulfilling all internal and external reporting requirements for all legal entities in India.
Responsibilities- Statutory Control: Review and oversee financial transactions for accuracy.
- Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance to ensure reports are free of material misstatement.
- Manage cash flow and capital expenditure.
- Collaborate with the Group finance team to integrate acquired schools into the company's processes and ensure timely reporting.
- Implement accounting policies and adhere to group policies.
Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance operational experience in a commercial environment. The candidate should be a self-starter, deadline-driven, proactive, and capable of managing a varied workload from start to finish.
Essential Skills- Strong understanding of tax, statutory accounting, and financial control best practices for the region.
- Solid technical accounting skills with good knowledge of IFRS.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to set policies and directions, with flexibility and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships at senior levels and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to balance control with operational freedom for schools.
- International experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
