Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Truck Dispatcher. The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedule and logistics for truck drivers. This includes finding and booking loads, negotiating rates with brokers, handling paperwork, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and keeping drivers informed and updated throughout their routes. The Truck Dispatcher will work closely with the drivers to ensure their schedules run smoothly and efficiently and will collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during a delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in truck dispatching, logistics, or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in using dispatch software and other related technology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in the trucking industry is a plus
