Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lahore for a Truck Dispatcher. The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing truck schedules, communicating with drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, handling route planning and optimization, as well as managing and negotiating load bookings. The role also includes managing paperwork and invoicing, providing 24/7 dispatch support, and facilitating broker negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in load booking, negotiation, and route optimization
  • Good knowledge of Truck stop, DAT and 123 loadboard
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle invoicing, paperwork, and rate confirmation management
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and tools
  • Flexibility to provide 24/7 dispatch support
  • Previous experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in logistics or related field
