This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Dispatcher located in Lahore. The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for monitoring and assigning truck delivery tasks to drivers in a timely and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for communicating with drivers to provide necessary instructions and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Timing: 06:00 pm to 03:00 am (Monday to Friday)
Experience: 1 year plus
Salary: Basic pay 35k - 60k + commissions
English fluency is a must.

Role Description:

  • Managing truck drivers' schedules and routes.
  • Scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered.
  • Providing shipping details to customers.
  • Reviewing logs of truck drivers.
  • Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes, and times for pickups and deliveries.
  • Completing paperwork related to shipments such as invoices.
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Negotiating rates and delivery timelines.
  • The Dispatcher will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and routing of truck drivers to ensure safe and efficient transport of goods and materials.
  • The Dispatcher will also communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in truck dispatching or logistics planning is required; experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software such as Microsoft Office, Google Maps, and transportation management systems (TMS) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with drivers and other personnel while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
