Devsinc is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing SAP modules and applications to meet the needs of our business. Your role will involve working closely with functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development and implementation phases. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to ensure that our systems are running efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Core Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.
  2. Design, code, test, and implement SAP modules and applications.
  3. Work closely with functional teams to understand their requirements.
  4. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and implementation.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
  7. Ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  9. Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met.
  10. Document technical specifications and development processes.
  11. Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  12. Perform system testing and validation procedures.
  13. Optimize and enhance existing SAP applications.
  14. Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  15. Assist in the planning and execution of SAP upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules and applications.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming language.
  • Knowledge in SAP Netweaver development technologies, including ABAP Objects, Java, Visual composer, xApps Analytics, Web Dynpro/Java.
  • Experience in Adobe Interactive Forms, ABAP report development, dialog programming, SAPscript/Smartforms, Enhancements & BADI's, LSMW, workflow, Idocs / ALE all a plus.
  • SAP experience with either SAP Netweaver 2004, SAP Solution Manager 4.0, SAP Business Warehouse 7.0, and SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Experience with SAP development tools such as SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, and BAPI.
  • Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits and BAdIs.
  • Understanding of SAP data dictionary and database concepts.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAP programs.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
