Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamicBusiness Development Engineerwith a strongengineering background, provensales experience, and anMBAto join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our diverse range of engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote IES's products and services.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
  • Engage with consultants, contractors, and government agencies to position IES solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge to anticipate trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Strategy (mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in sales, business development, or key account management within engineering, construction, or technology sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to present engineering solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
