We are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer / Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and the ability to create visually compelling graphics, as well as edit engaging videos that align with our brand and marketing objectives. This role requires a combination of creative skills, technical expertise, and an understanding of current design and video trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Create visual content for digital and print media, including social media graphics, banners, brochures, flyers, posters, and website assets.
  • Develop and maintain brand consistency across all design projects, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and produce creative concepts that effectively communicate our brand message.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.

Video Editing:

  • Edit raw video footage into polished videos for social media, websites, advertisements, and other marketing channels.
  • Add visual effects, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the final product.
  • Work with the marketing team to understand the goals of each video project and ensure that the content aligns with our brand strategy.
  • Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring the best quality and format for each.
  • Stay updated on the latest video editing software, tools, and trends to continuously improve the quality of work.

Content Creation:

  • Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including animations, and infographics.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and other team members to produce cohesive and impactful content.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and social media engagement.
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that design and video projects meet objectives and timelines.
  • Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns and content strategy.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and video editing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Job Specification

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or similar.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • Familiarity with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of photography and videography principles.

Creative Skills:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and video editing projects.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with brand guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
