
Group Product Manager

The Group Product Manager (GPM) will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of product portfolios within assigned therapeutic areas. This role includes overseeing brand management, leading a team of Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (PMs), and ensuring alignment with company goals. The GPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage key relationships with stakeholders, and maintain focus on driving brand growth, market positioning, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Therapeutic Area Planning & Execution:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution for assigned therapeutic areas to drive brand growth and market share.
Brand Management:
- Oversee end-to-end brand management, develop brand strategies, and monitor brand performance to ensure market success.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (PMs), ensuring effective execution and development.
Strategic Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and adjust brand strategies.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with sales, regulatory, medical, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and messaging.
KOL & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external stakeholders to drive brand influence.
Events Management:
- Plan and execute key events (congresses, symposia) to promote the brand and engage with stakeholders.
Market Leadership:
- Define strategic positioning of products, ensuring differentiation and competitive advantage in the market.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).
- 6-8 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years in Sales.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and leading teams, particularly APMs and PMs.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience working with KOLs and managing external partnerships.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience in managing events and conferences.
