PMD is looking for a Sr. Manager Technical who will lead the team responsible for the maintenance, development and data security of PMD's technology infrastructure (including power supply and backup system housed within the datacenters), as well as deployment and maintenance of services hosted by PMD.

Education

  • 16+ years of education BS/MS in Telecom, Computer Science or related field.

Desired Experience/Certifications:

  • 8+ years overall work experience in IT industry with at least:
  • 5+ year experience of designing, configuring, deploying and integrating Linux based IT solutions
  • 3+ year work experience of deployment and management of storage and backup solutions (FC SAN)
  • 3+ year Datacenter management experience.
  • Must have Linux Systems Administration certification (VMware DCV certification shall be a plus) with certification in at least two of the following domains:
  • Information Security. Any Information Security certifications from one of the following:
  • CDPC, ITIL or COBIT, SCRUM Master, Six Sigma, PMP Certifications are a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in datacenter management (including power supply and backup systems).
  • Working Experience of high availability (HA) architectures and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience of managing storage and backup solutions (FC SAN).
  • Experience in implementing information security practices in line with industry standards.
  • API deployment and familiarity with databases.
  • Good knowledge of information technology management and IT governance.
  • Experience of preparing technical budget.
  • Experience of employee performance evaluation.
  • Experience of preparing technical RFP/RFQs and bid evaluation.
  • Experience of managing technical projects and the commitment to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
