Job Purpose:
Executive Media Planning will support the planning, execution, and optimization of Above-The-Line (ATL) promotional activities across Conventional Media (TV, Radio, Print) and Digital Media (Social media, Display Ads, Video Ads, etc.). The role involves assisting in media strategy development, budget allocation, vendor and internal coordination, and performance analysis to ensure effective campaign delivery and alignment with brand and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Media Planning & Execution: Assist in developing media plans for TV, Radio, Print, and Digital Media to achieve optimal reach and frequency. Support the execution of ATL campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate implementation. Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Segments, Finance, Procurement etc) to ensure campaign alignment with marketing objectives. Monitor media schedules and ensure adherence to planned timelines.
- Budget Management: Assist in the allocation and tracking of media budgets to ensure cost efficiency and maximum ROI. Maintain accurate records of campaign expenditures and report any discrepancies. Support the preparation of budget forecasts and financial reports.
- Vendor & Agency Coordination: Liaise with media agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth execution of campaigns. Assist in the preparation of Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely issuance. Maintain vendor records and track deliverables to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance using key metrics (e.g., reach, impressions, engagement, conversions). Prepare regular reports and dashboards to highlight campaign performance and insights. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
- Media Support: Assist in the planning and execution of media campaigns. Support the integration of digital media strategies with conventional media efforts. Stay updated on conventional and digital media trends, tools, and platforms.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all media activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation of media plans, contracts, and campaign reports. Assist in financial reconciliations and audits related to media expenditures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the media planning team and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution. Provide administrative and operational support to the media team. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve campaign effectiveness.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in media planning, advertising, or a related field.
- Familiarity with conventional and digital media platforms is preferred.
Skills – Generic:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills – Job Specific:
- Basic understanding of conventional media (TV, Radio, Print) and digital media (Social, Display, Video).
- Familiarity with media planning tools and platforms (e.g., Kantar, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
