About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a strategic media planning role. In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining successful relationships with brand teams, marketing managers, and client senior staff/executives.

You will work closely with Marketing Managers and other executives, acting as media experts on all projects as required. A strong track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships is essential.

In addition, you will aid in the training of new and junior-level department staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • This role reports to the Business Director.
  • You will be responsible for the complete portfolio for media deliveries as well as company goals.
  • You will act as the primary media expert for assigned clients and client service team, including planning and buying of media.
  • You will maintain and develop responsive working relationships with all stakeholders of the business to identify potential opportunities.
  • You will acquire a comprehensive understanding of client overarching marketing objectives.
  • You will review quarterly/semi-annual & annual category reviews.
  • You will ensure timely deliverables of deadlines for e.g. Annual Media Strategy Presentations, Monthly Post Buys.
  • You will review campaign analysis directly relevant to optimization and/or planning and buying decisions.
  • You will analyze multiple sources of external data to assist in planning and buying decisions.
  • You will help develop new hire training, as well as department-wide continuing education programs.
  • You will actively mentor new employees and encourage shared learning across the department.
  • You will work cross-functionally with the client management team and Account Directors as needed.

  • A clear and solid understanding of the business.
  • The ability to mentor and train new Media Planners.
  • A commitment to ensuring quality control of media deliverables to the Client.
