Role Responsibilities

  • Research potential clients and projects on Upwork to identify suitable bidding opportunities.
  • Create engaging and customized proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Employ effective bidding strategies to increase the chances of winning projects.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project details and establish rapport.
  • Negotiate project terms, deadlines, and budgets with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Keep track of bidding outcomes and client feedback to refine strategies.
  • Coordinate with team members to understand project requirements and develop winning proposals.
  • Analyze competitor bids to enhance our own bidding strategies.
  • Maintain an organized database of leads, proposals, and conversions.
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple bids simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Stay updated with Upwork policy changes and industry trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Continuously learn and apply new techniques to improve bidding success rates.
  • Prepare reports on bidding activities and outcomes for management review.
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions for strategies and ideas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bidding on Upwork, LinkedIn or similar freelance platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of success.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all proposals.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach.
  • Proficiency in using Upwork and understanding its functionalities.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management software would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work on-site in Pakistan.
