Company: TeReSol Pvt. Ltd.

Job Type: Full-Time | Senior Level

TeReSol is looking for a Senior Database Design Engineer to join our growing team in Islamabad. If you have a strong background in database architecture and hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, ACID-compliant database schemas.
  • Optimize database performance, indexing, and queries.
  • Develop complex SQL scripts and support data-intensive operations.
  • Lead data migration initiatives and build robust ETL pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with backend teams to support their data needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in database architecture or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong skills in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL scripting and industry-standard ETL tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in fintech or large-scale financial applications is a strong advantage.
