Job Description:

Role Overview: As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support product teams working on mobile apps and games by generating actionable insights, building clear data visualizations, and assisting in data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover trends, solve business problems through data, and drive product improvements..

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from relational databases
  • Perform advanced data manipulation and forecasting using Excel or Google Sheets, including integration with external databases and creation of dynamic dashboards and graphs
  • Design and build interactive reports and dashboards using data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Qlik, or MicroStrategy
  • Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform product and business decisions
  • Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of A/B testing experiments, applying appropriate statistical techniques to evaluate outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to translate business requirements into clear, data-driven insights
  • Present findings and recommendations in a structured and comprehensible format, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience with SQL and writing complex queries
  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization
  • Hands-on experience with at least one BI/data visualization tool: Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Qlik, or Microstrategy
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodology and statistical analysis techniques
  • Ability to create both reports and strategic insights that guide decision-making
  • Experience with or exposure to mobile apps or mobile games is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
