Ibex is looking for a Software Engineer – QA who will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, record test progress and results. The candidate will collaborate with the PMO and Development team to thoroughly understand and analyze requirements, as well as the technical architecture of the software.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop functional and non-functional test cases based on requirements, ensuring all guidelines are followed. Maintain existing test cases accordingly.
  2. Have a complete understanding of SDLC; experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  3. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand QA test automation frameworks (coding in C#, Selenium, JavaScript) and create new test cases around those frameworks using proper test data with guidance.
  4. Execute test cases on cross-platform (web/mobile) applications, identify and report bugs using a bug tracking system.
  5. Drive innovation and streamline testing processes.
  6. Demonstrate experience in Acceptance Testing within Agile environments.
  7. Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle to identify defects and design flaws.
  8. Research and analyze new testing tools and technologies, staying updated with the latest testing strategies.
  9. Perform all levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression testing.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  2. 2-4 years of experience as an SQA Engineer.
  3. Strong database skills, including running queries in MSSQL and MySQL.
  4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with all project disciplines.
  5. Proficiency in QA test automation frameworks (coding in C#, Selenium, JavaScript) and creating test cases with appropriate data.
  6. Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and processes; participate in QA work groups to improve software usability, performance, and security.
  7. Experience in test result evaluation, reporting, and metrics.
