Job Title: Staff Nurse (MICU,NICU & ICU)

Location: Qamar-ul-Islam Hospital, Street #18, Punjab Colony, Khayaban-e-Jami, DHA, Karachi

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Night shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse with 2 years of clinical experience and specialized expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care in NICU, ICU, and MICU settings according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patients' health status using critical thinking skills and advanced medical equipment.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and other treatments safely and accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document nursing care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and recovery processes.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in NICU, ICU, and MICU.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, emotionally demanding environments.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with ventilator management, central lines, and neonatal resuscitation.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and critical care equipment.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
