Job Title: Assistant Manager Accounts
Education- CA Finalist / ACCA / ICMA / MBA Finance / M. Com
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or auto parts company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS/IAS).
- Knowledge of Pakistan tax laws (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax).
- Experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or local ERP).
- Strong MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS and local GAAP.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
- Support cost accounting functions, including BOM analysis, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax) and coordinate tax filings (FBR, PRA/SRB).
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for audit planning, execution, and resolution of audit findings.
- Maintain fixed asset register and ensure proper capitalization, tagging, and depreciation.
- Assist in developing internal controls, SOPs, and ensuring their implementation.
- Coordinate with the procurement and production departments for financial inputs and cost control measures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and insights.
- Handle ERP system operations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems) for finance-related modules.
