Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Compliance Department with all administrative functions related to maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations and company policies. This position will provide administrative support in all areas including, but not limited to, DOT required recordkeeping, driver management, contract carrier management, fleet management and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Compliance Team with data entry and uploading of required documents in the compliance database
  • Create and distribute fleet, driver and contractor reports
  • Provide administrative support for periodic tax reporting including, but not limited to, applicable federal, state and local reporting requirements (i.e., IFTA, HUT, IRP, MCP, etc.)
  • Maintain responsibility for accuracy of vehicle, driver and carrier database ("Fleet Mentor")
  • Monitor onboard recording/tracking devices and correlating driver app usage, and assist with user training
  • Track and monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS) and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) to ensure compliance with applicable DOT regulations
  • Assist with maintenance of driver and fleet files, ensuring compliance with FMCSA driver qualification and vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Assist in maintaining DOT Accident Registry
  • Create and distribute departmental SOPs
  • Assist in facilitating required documentation and responses to DOT violations including Data-Q and corrective action, when applicable
  • Manage and maintain all printed and electronic files in a secure and confidential manner
