Requirements:
  • One of the certifications is mandatory: ACCA, CA, or CPA.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a senior role, including at least 1 year in the UAE.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, quality assurance policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in UAE VAT and Tax Computations.
  • Proficient in English.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coach team members.
  • Motivate the team to improve performance continuously.
  • Maintain knowledge of tax, accounting, and compliance regulations to provide high-quality services.
  • Define objectives, analyze trends, evaluate options, and assess outcomes.
  • Design KPIs and ensure the team works towards achieving short- and long-term goals.
  • Achieve set KPIs.
  • Maintain quality services by enforcing standards and customer service policies.
  • Oversee client relations and team operations.
  • Ensure a strong control environment to safeguard assets and enhance profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation, including tax compliance for clients.
  • Prepare performance reports for management.
  • Develop and document business processes to strengthen internal controls and service delivery.
  • Implement and update standard operating procedures.
  • Manage a portfolio of premium clients and serve as the main contact point for clients handled by the back-office team.
  • Monitor deadlines and deliverables for all clients.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to meet client requirements on time.
  • Optimize resource utilization and ensure sufficient resources are available.
  • Ensure the team is knowledgeable about regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Assess and monitor team members' performance, providing feedback.
  • Design processes and programs to keep the team updated on regulations.
  • Mentor interns and new joiners in operational roles.
  • Ensure competitive pricing for custom client requirements.
  • Manage team communication and client-facing responsibilities, maintaining quality.
  • Address and resolve client complaints and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely renewals, address delays, and communicate issues to relevant teams.
