We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, taking a professional and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent advisory and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team. They will be responsible for managing large VAT implementation teams, identifying opportunities in the market, and developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing large VAT implementation teams comprising both client functional experts and consultant specialists
  • Identifying opportunities in the market and leading on developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients
  • Building and maintaining tax relationships with our clients
  • Advising on indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or good & services tax (GST)
  • Identifying and addressing areas of risk and advising clients on taxation implications of international trade

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable accounting firm (Indirect Tax experience)
  • Experience of handling a moderate size of client portfolio
  • Experience of managing a team of at least 3-4 persons
