About Tajir

Tajir is a new way for stores to buy inventory. Through the Tajir app, stores can order whenever they want, receive on-demand delivery, and choose from the largest selection of products available. Combined with transparent and competitive prices, Tajir takes a process that took a dozen hours every week and reduces it to a few minutes.

For brands, Tajir ensures that products are always reliably stocked at stores. Brands enjoy higher margin sales with zero additional investment.

Since our launch, we became the first company for Pakistan funded by Y Combinator, raised seed capital and further financing from Kleiner Perkins, and — most importantly — have served over 100,000 stores.

Today, Tajir helps stores save money and boost sales. Our vision is to provide every store in Pakistan the essential services it needs to grow.

Who we are looking for

  • >5 years of experience in commodity management and supply chain.

  • A strategic thinker with strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with experience in procurement, supply chain, or commodity management.

  • Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

  • Passionate about B2B commerce and driving operational efficiency.

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.

What you will do

  • Develop & implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring competitiveness.

  • Travel extensively across Pakistan for vendor negotiations, market visits, and procurement-related activities.

  • Execute procurement tasks such as issuing purchase orders (POs) and vendor follow-ups.

  • Analyze market trends & demand to make data-driven procurement decisions.

  • Optimize inventory management by reducing stockouts and stuck inventory.

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and payment terms.

  • Strengthen supplier relationships and improve supplier communication quality.

  • Support category managers in achieving procurement and sales targets.

  • Ensure on-time order placement and delivery to maintain smooth operations.
