About the job: Chief Financial Officer

Client Company Introduction:

Singaporean IT firm expanding its team in Pakistan.

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CFO to oversee financial activities, develop strategies, and lead risk management in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities to manage budgets and control costs company-wide.
  • Design smart financial strategies to boost profits and support growth.
  • Create strong risk management plans to protect finances.
  • Improve financial processes to save time, cut risks, and boost efficiency.
  • Lead internal audits to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Bring startup experience with hands-on financial leadership in fast-paced environments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
  • Understand the financial needs and agility required in startup ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CA, ACCA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in early to mid-stage startups.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and strategic planning.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Leadership qualities to mentor and lead finance teams.
  • Proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficient in financial software and digital tools.
