Senior Finance Manager Job Description

About the Role:

The Senior Manager of Finance and Accounts will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the organization's financial health and stability. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, aligning with the company's objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis, comparing actual results to budgeted figures, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimizing liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
