Multan Carpet Industries (MCI) is a leading manufacturer and exporter of premier quality luxury woolen woven carpets in Pakistan. Established to meet the global demand for natural carpets, MCI is renowned for producing high-quality carpets for both residential and commercial use. The company procures, scours, cards, and spins its own wool to produce the desired quality yarn for its carpets.

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with deep experience in weaving looms, spinning machinery, and textile plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

·Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of textile machinery (weaving/spinning)

·Troubleshoot and maintain weaving looms (manual, automatic, or Jacquard)

·Diagnose and resolve spinning machinery issues including cards, drawframes, ring frames, and winding

·Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules

·Coordinate with technical teams for optimization and upgrades of production lines

·Ensure smooth operations with minimal downtime

Requirements

·Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognized university)

·4–5 years of hands-on experience in textile machinery (spinning & weaving mandatory)

·Strong expertise in machine erection, mechanical adjustments, and downtime troubleshooting

·Understanding of production efficiency, maintenance documentation, and safety protocols

·Ability to work in high-paced manufacturing environment
