Position Overview: The Sourcing Specialist will play a vital role in managing costs, ensuring product availability, and optimizing ordering processes. Key responsibilities include developing cost management strategies, maintaining product availability, improving ordering efficiency, and fostering effective communication internally and externally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, solid IT knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.   • Manage costs through sourcing strategies such as cost reductions, rebates, extended payment terms, warehousing, on-demand shipping, and distributor or manufacturer programs.
  • Maintain product availability by managing stock levels, turnover, sourcing alternatives, and inventory mix.
  • Improve ordering efficiencies by reducing purchase order cycle times and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy in ordering processes, minimizing entry errors, CRM cases, vendor errors, and receiving errors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field is required.
  • Basic understanding of information technology and electronic products terminology.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and demonstrate strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Office; knowledge of Access is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Effective communication with sales teams regarding request statuses.
