Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer located in Lahore. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and developing strategic plans. Daily tasks include building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure financial goals are met.

  1. Researching various channels to identify new and potential business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  2. Designing and implementing marketing and sales strategy for the assigned region.
  3. Planning new marketing initiatives, Sales Management & Client Servicing.
  4. Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, including students, University partners, local Institutes etc. Liaising for presentations on study abroad, recruitment of students. Contacting existing schools and university database via email, phone or cold calls to establish rapport and set up meetings Segmenting clients based on potential opportunities and agree on an aggressive sales and service plan.
  5. Determining in conjunction with Corporate Office/Director appropriate strategy for business development.
  6. Assist & Manage various marketing campaigns across the regions to help promote the programs offered at HR portfolio of Universities.
  7. Recruit and train junior business development executives.
  8. Compile reports on business development/sales figures, and work with the marketing department on projects to increase the sales / Revenue for the company especially to promote Education Expos and events organized by HR.
  9. Sell HR English and Assessment Test Preparation and referral partnership by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects candidates and partners.
  10. Working with the colleague counsellors and ensuring maximum support for their recruitment.
  11. Researching the needs and identifying key decision makers – principals and counsellors.
  12. Attending conferences, events, Education fairs on behalf of the business.
  13. Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; updates on entry requirements and managing any challenges faced by our partners.
  14. Arranging and conducting seminars with the Academies & schools to target O & A level students.
  15. Regular feedback on the local Marketing trends for a focused approach for promotions.
  16. Weekly and Monthly reports required by senior management on your activities and work done.
  17. Supporting staff members where required including events arranged by HR Education.
  18. Linking with main social media actors to attract young students from their reach and audience.

What to Expect

  1. You'll work in an office environment, but will frequently travel within the day for face-to-face meetings with customers and other business partners.
  2. You may have the responsibility of managing a team and their output.
  3. You'll be expected to dress smartly, especially for meetings, though slightly more relaxed business casual attire may be acceptable at other times.
  4. Bonuses will be paid through different mediums depending upon your overall performance managed through increased business.
