Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are looking for a passionate and meticulous QA Engineer who thrives on ensuring product excellence. You will be a key player in building reliable, high-quality software by developing robust testing strategies and driving a culture of quality across our teams. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to proactively identify defects, optimize testing processes, and ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the quality of the product lifecycle: from requirement validation to post-release monitoring.
  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Perform API testing (using tools like Postman) and database validations through SQL queries.
  • Identify, track, and document bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or other tools, and collaborate with development teams for swift resolutions.
  • Ensure smooth performance by conducting load, stress, and scalability testing using tools like JMeter or Load Runner.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate testing tools, frameworks, and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate on user stories, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Drive CI/CD test automation pipelines and ensure seamless integration with build tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Champion a culture of quality, ensuring testing practices align with business and user goals.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with strong expertise in software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Test NG, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) with tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Strong experience in SQL for validating backend data and queries.
  • Proficiency with version control tools like Git and defect management tools like JIRA.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into development workflows.
  • Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, or LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certification.
  • Exposure to security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with Agile testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
