We are a top IT service provider company working on challenging projects involving building new products from scratch. In this role, you may be responsible for everything from architecture design for new products to building cutting-edge UI.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Design robust, scalable, and secure features
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards)
  • Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
  • Good understanding of Ruby syntax and nuances
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skills for writing reusable Ruby libraries for expressive use
  • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful concepts
  • Experience with web frameworks like Rails and Sinatra
  • Understanding of scalable application design principles
  • Able to create database schemas supporting business processes
  • Familiarity with continuous integration practices
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
  • Experience developing highly interactive applications
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
  • Passion for writing simple, clean, efficient code
  • Good knowledge of relational databases
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Additional Information

It's a plus if you can play any musical instrument (Guitar, Piano, Violin, Drums) or excel in sports.
