What You'll Do

As a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, you'll be a key contributor to our product development. You'll work directly with the CEO to build scalable web applications and shape the technical direction of our projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and ship new features in our Ruby on Rails codebase end-to-end
  • Scale and optimize existing services for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to define specs, CI/CD, and service architecture
  • Mentor and lead mid- and junior-level engineers; champion code reviews and best practices
  • Troubleshoot live production issues, identifying root cause and shipping fixes

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience building production-grade Rails applications
  • Deep expertise in Rails internals (ActiveRecord, caching, background jobs such as Sidekiq)
  • Strong familiarity with relational data modeling (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and RESTful APIs
  • Test-first mindset—solid RSpec or Minitest experience, end-to-end testing practices
  • Dockerized environments, cloud deployment (AWS / GCP) or container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Strong communicator in distributed teams; comfortable mentoring and code reviews

Bonus: React or Vue front-end exposure; DevOps automation (Terraform, Ansible); contributions to OSS
