Office Location: Shahrah e Faisal, Karachi

Required Experience: 1 – 2 Years

Ensure all patient information is handled with strict confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments.
  • Handle inbound and outbound patient communications via phone, email, and patient portals.
  • Perform insurance verifications and pre-authorizations.
  • Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
  • Prepare patient intake forms and assist with telehealth coordination.
  • Follow up on referrals, lab results, and prescriptions.
  • Manage medical billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups (as needed).
  • Transcribe and format medical notes or correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative support to physicians and staff.
Qualifications
  • Required Experience and Skills:
  • 1-2 Years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, or similar healthcare role.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Kareo, Athenahealth, Epic, etc.).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and scheduling platforms.
