Job Purpose

Efficiently promote and execute the day-to-day sales and customer service activities of the sales shop to achieve targets and objectives. Properly handle and direct customer inquiries and complaints to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote sales and customer activities as per supervisor/manager guidance, including tickets, packages, holidays, visas, insurance, car rentals, etc.
• Process reservations, bookings, and modifications for walk-in and call-in customers and agents; issue tickets and finalize travel arrangements.
• Implement cross-selling techniques to promote products and services and meet individual targets.
• Stay updated on new products and systems introduced by the company.
• Maximize sales and profitability by selling ancillaries, insurance, holiday packages, visas, and air rewards; educate customers on promotions and refer to specialists when needed.
• Establish contact with current and potential customers to recover and enhance sales, building trust and credibility. Participate in outdoor promotions and sales blitzes.
• Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries and complaints via visits, calls, or emails, maintaining a positive airline image.
• Notify customers of flight changes such as delays or cancellations.
• Process and monitor visa applications and cancellations according to airline policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Tourism/Management preferred. Additional qualifications in Aviation/IATA/Tourism are a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good command of English and Urdu.

Work Experience

At least 1 year of counter ticketing sales experience in customer service, preferably in travel, airline, or tourism industries. Knowledgeable about airline/travel products and services. Skilled in understanding customer issues, communication, problem-solving, and negotiating. Able to work long hours under pressure.
