A Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the organization's rewards and benefit policies. This includes salaries, bonuses, and employee benefits such as pensions, life assurance, profit-sharing, company cars, and medical insurance packages. The role also involves arranging relocation and expatriate packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the organization's salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between cost control and attracting and retaining staff;
- Researching and analyzing salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the same sector;
- Undertaking job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences within the organization;
- Making recommendations on changes to pension and insurance schemes;
- Identifying and determining the causes of personnel problems and developing recommendations for improvement;
- Developing and implementing new benefit packages that are current, competitive, and compliant with legal requirements;
- Negotiating with union representatives on pay and benefits issues;
- Managing the payroll system.

Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs; analyze compensation policies and government regulations; design and evaluate benefits policies; develop methods to improve employment policies; manage the distribution of information regarding benefits and compensation; formulate recruitment and placement policies.
