A Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the organization's rewards and benefit policies. This includes salaries, bonuses, and employee benefits such as pensions, life assurance, profit-sharing, company cars, and medical insurance packages. The role also involves arranging relocation and expatriate packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring the organization's salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between cost control and attracting and retaining staff;
  2. Researching and analyzing salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the same sector;
  3. Undertaking job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences within the organization;
  4. Making recommendations on changes to pension and insurance schemes;
  5. Identifying and determining the causes of personnel problems and developing recommendations for improvement;
  6. Developing and implementing new benefit packages that are current, competitive, and compliant with legal requirements;
  7. Negotiating with union representatives on pay and benefits issues;
  8. Managing the payroll system.

Skills:

Tasks:
Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs; analyze compensation policies and government regulations; design and evaluate benefits policies; develop methods to improve employment policies; manage the distribution of information regarding benefits and compensation; formulate recruitment and placement policies.
