Siddique Ice operates an ammonia refrigeration plant in Islamabad, Pakistan, specializing in cold storage and block ice manufacturing. We seek an experienced technician for operational maintenance in our industrial facility.

Requirements:

  • 6-7 years in industrial electrical maintenance
  • Minimum B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Technology
  • Hands-on focus on plant operations and troubleshooting
  • Bi-weekly rotating schedule with on-call availability required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair low voltage motors, starters, VFDs, and electrical systems
  • Pull, terminate, and test power and control cables for pumps, compressors, and other equipment
  • Install and maintain instrumentation equipment including cameras, sensors, and other devices
  • Calibrate and replace contactors, overloads, protection relays, pressure transmitters, and other sensors
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled refrigeration circuits
  • Trace faults, reset trips, and return plant equipment to service under production time pressure
  • Install conduit, wiring, and junction boxes
  • Schedule and log preventative maintenance in the CMMS; update spare-parts records
  • Maintain and expand site CCTV network; provide first-line IT support for switches and Wi-Fi APs
