Job Title: Downhole Tool Technician We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Downhole Tool Technician. This is a mid-senior level role that requires expertise in tungsten carbide welding, equipment maintenance, and quality control. Job Description:This is a key position in our organization, responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on downhole tools, such as Mills, Stabilizers, and wash pipes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and complex problem-solving skills. 
  • Perform tungsten carbide welding using specialized techniques, including oxy-fuel welding or electric arc processes.
  • Apply carbide overlays on tools, machinery, and equipment for wear resistance and durability.
  • Work with various materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloys.
 Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years of experience in tungsten carbide welding or related processes. A valid 6G certification from a recognized authority is required. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
