Your role:

As an AI Engineer at VisionX Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI (Gen AI) applications. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build innovative solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development and delivery of a Gen AI-based application, leveraging your strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into various applications and improve overall system performance.
3. Fine-tune LLMs and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to develop powerful LLM-powered chat platforms.
4. Optimize LLMs for specific use cases and industries, customizing solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
5. Troubleshoot and address issues related to language model performance, scalability, and integration.
6. Implement MLOps best practices to streamline the development, deployment, and management of AI models.
7. Contribute to backend development tasks as needed, ensuring the efficient integration of AI models into the overall application architecture.
8. Demonstrate experience in engineering management and project management, effectively leading and coordinating AI projects.
9. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to preprocess and prepare datasets for training and fine-tuning language models.
10. Foster a startup-like environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
11. Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, such as Generative AI and LLMs, to drive continuous improvement.

What you need:

1. 5+ years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record of developing and delivering Gen AI-based products.
2. Strong educational background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
3. In-depth experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and algorithms.
4. Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
5. Strong backend development skills, with proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java.
6. Previous work on large-scale language model projects is a plus.
7. Experience with MLOps tools and practices to ensure efficient model deployment and management.
8. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for model deployment. Should also be flexible to work with on-premises cloud.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think out of the box.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Proficiency in using tools and technologies such as Docker, REST APIs, and cloud services.
12. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
