Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical roles in E-commerce, FinTech or subscription-based environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and similar technologies is good to have.
  • Proven experience as an Odoo Technical Consultant/Developer, with hands-on involvement in multiple end-to-end Odoo implementations.
  • Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of the Odoo framework (Community and Enterprise editions etc).
  • Experience with database management, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Skilled in customizing and extending Odoo modules using XML, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Odoo.sh deployment and management.
  • Odoo Technical Certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, internal technical teams, and business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Work closely with the functional team to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, functional consultants, and other technical team members to ensure successful delivery of Odoo-based solutions.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and workflows tailored to business needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and high-quality Python code to implement new features, enhancements, and third-party integrations within the Odoo framework.
  • Configure Odoo ERP systems, including user access control, data migration, and system security.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and issue resolution across all customized Odoo modules.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to end-users, helping resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise.
  • Stay updated on the latest Odoo developments, best practices, and tools to improve system performance and functionality.
