About the Role

We are looking for a skilled
Odoo Developer
to join our team in building two next-generation products:

  1. AI-Powered Proposal & Contract Webtool
    (AML, Tax, Audit, Compliance, Visa Services, UAE-specific contracts).
  2. AI-Integrated Accounting, Bookkeeping, Taxation & Audit Tool
    with
    mandatory Odoo integration
    for ERP, invoicing, tax, and finance workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Odoo customization, module development, and integrations, with a passion for connecting ERP systems to AI-driven business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Odoo Customization & Development
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Invoicing, CRM, Projects, Subscriptions, HR, etc.).
  • Extend Odoo for proposals, contracts, VAT, AML, and compliance workflows.
  • Design
    field mapping, entity syncing, and automated workflows
    for proposals, contracts, and invoices.
  • Integration & Automation
  • Build
    robust Odoo connectors
    for external systems (CRM: HubSpot/Zoho/Salesforce, e-sign: DocuSign/Adobe Sign).
  • Ensure seamless
    two-way sync
    with our AI-powered Webtool (proposals/contracts → Odoo sales orders/invoices).
  • Automate reconciliation, reporting, and compliance checks via Odoo APIs.
  • Accounting & Taxation Focus
  • Implement UAE-specific
    VAT, AML/KYC compliance, invoicing, and taxation logic
    .
  • Support automated VAT return preparation and filing workflows.
  • Ensure continuous sync with AI-driven dashboards and reporting layers.
  • Technical Delivery
  • Ensure Odoo modules align with AI-powered workflows (proposal → contract → sales order → invoice → audit).
  • Optimize performance, security, and maintainability of Odoo custom modules.
  • Document integrations, workflows, and APIs for internal and client-facing teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years hands-on Odoo development
    (Community & Enterprise editions).
  • Strong knowledge of
    Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoo ORM
    .
  • Experience with
    Odoo module customization, workflow automation, and accounting modules
    .
  • Proven ability to integrate Odoo with external systems via
    XML-RPC/JSON-RPC, REST APIs, or webhooks
    .
  • Understanding of
    accounting principles, VAT, and compliance workflows
    (preferably UAE or GCC).
  • Familiarity with
    Docker/Kubernetes
    deployment of Odoo.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with
    AI/ML integrations
    (clause recommendation, anomaly detection, OCR data capture).
  • Knowledge of
    Arabic language handling
    in Odoo (multilingual invoices/contracts).
  • Familiarity with
    security & compliance frameworks
    (GDPR, UAE Data Protection Law).
  • Prior experience integrating Odoo with
    HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM
    .
