About the Project:

Alliance Pakistan is launching a high-impact tech networking series in Islamabad, aiming to bring together Pakistan's top tech leadership — founders, CIOs, CTOs, and decision-makers — for meaningful conversations, collaborations, and visibility. Our goal is to grow this into a signature event series that rivals international benchmarks like Gitex.

We're seeking an Assistant Director to work directly with the Project Director in shaping and executing the event, with ownership over key areas like speaker engagement, sponsorships, hospitality, and panel moderation.

Why This Role Matters:

This isn't an administrative support position — you'll be co-piloting a new platform for Pakistan's tech ecosystem. It's a leadership-track opportunity for someone who's passionate about innovation, events, and high-level networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Assist the Director in developing and implementing event strategy.
  • Speaker & VIP Coordination: Engage with invited guests, coordinate logistics, and ensure a premium experience.
  • On-Ground Operations: Help manage the event day flow, logistics, and guest experience.
  • Moderation & Public Engagement: Represent the event on-stage, in panel sessions, or during digital promotions (if comfortable).
  • Sponsorship & Partnerships: Lead outreach to potential sponsors and community partners.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Option to build and lead a small support team if needed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about tech, entrepreneurship, or innovation.
  • Excellent communicator with confidence in working with C-level professionals.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage high-responsibility tasks independently.
  • Has exposure to international tech/media ecosystems (preferred but not required).

Compensation & Benefits:

This is currently an unpaid/volunteer role. We are transparent about this at the outset, but future sponsorships may open opportunities for financial compensation.
