This is a contractual role for a Game Designer located in Karāchi. The Game Designer will be responsible for designing levels, developing games, and creating engaging and immersive experiences for both console and mobile platforms. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing game mechanics, creating design documentation, iterating on gameplay ideas, implement game logic using scripting tools or visual logic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the design aligns with the project's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, and iterate on game levels that align with core gameplay mechanics.
  • Implement and tweak gameplay logic (e.g., triggers, objectives, puzzles etc).
  • Collaborate with design and dev teams to ensure fun, challenge, and flow.
  • Optimize levels for performance and playability.
  • Conduct internal playtests and adjust based on feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience with level design tools (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, pacing, and logic systems.
  • Ability to translate design ideas into playable levels.
  • Familiarity with scripting or visual scripting (Blueprints, Bolt, etc.).
