Job Summary
The Technical Field & Sales Engineer is a hybrid role that integrates field deployment expertise with customer-facing technical sales support in the defense technology domain. This role ensures accurate installation, service, and demonstration of advanced surveillance, imaging, and communication systems, while also supporting solution design, client engagement, and post-sales satisfaction. It's suited for an ambitious engineer aiming to grow into a strategic, client-oriented technical expert.
Key Responsibilities
Field Engineering & Technical Support
- Install, configure, and test advanced defense systems at customer or operational sites.
- Perform site surveys and infrastructure readiness evaluations pre-deployment.
- Troubleshoot system faults and conduct field diagnostics using test equipment.
- Maintain installation and maintenance logs, performance records, and service tickets.
- Support emergency deployments, warranty calls, and critical system recovery tasks.

- Assist in creating customized technical proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Participate in sales meetings, understand customer requirements, and suggest tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demos and support hands-on training for military and technical users.
- Maintain CRM records, client feedback logs, and documentation of all engagements.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product teams for solution design and post-sales delivery.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in field service, technical sales, or system integration.
- Internship or exposure to defense applications or B2G sales is an advantage.
- Certifications in networking, diagnostics, or military systems are a plus.
