About the role:

As an IT Sourcing Executive, this will play a pivotal role in aligning procurement strategies with organizational needs, focusing particularly on technology-related goods and services. This position is integral to ensuring cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions that support the efficiency and innovation of IT operations. Additionally, person will analyze market trends and emerging technologies to recommend sourcing strategies that keep the organization ahead of technological advancements.

  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of IT goods and services, aligning with both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies that leverage emerging technologies and market insights, contributing to organizational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement policies and regulations, ensuring ethical and transparent sourcing practices.
  • Establish and nurture vendor relationships to drive value, fostering partnerships that enhance service quality and technology adoption.
  • Continuously analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities, proactively adapting sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational objectives and IT project milestones.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of sourcing processes, ensuring measurable improvements in cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Your Typical Day will look like:
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative technologies that align with organizational needs and IT project goals.
  • Prepare detailed procurement plans and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Facilitate negotiation sessions with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and contract terms, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality.
  • Track and report on procurement metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement and decision-making.
  • Address and resolve sourcing challenges, including supplier delays or compliance issues, with agility and foresight.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to integrate procurement strategies with broader IT initiatives, ensuring seamless execution.

What we're looking for:

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher

Work experience:Overall 3 years + at least 1 year in sourcing

Certifications CIPs, Commercial Law

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
  • Fair knowledge in procurement strategies
  • Vendor management
  • Negotiating contracts, and familiarity with IT systems and technologies.
  • Understanding of legal frameworks for contracts and compliance is plus, alongside some proficiency in data analysis and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management to effectively integrate strategies across departments.
  • Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a results-driven approach ensure the role's success in dynamic settings.
