Position Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Pricing Specialist with expertise in construction takeoffs and cost estimation for USA-based projects. This role involves pricing labor and materials across various project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial. The ideal candidate should excel in analytical thinking, have a sharp attention to detail, and possess a solid understanding of construction practices, materials, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cost Estimation:
    Analyze takeoffs, specifications, and related documents to grasp project scope.
    Utilize industry-standard tools like RS Means for accurate pricing.
    Develop material lists and quantities for each project.
    Research and analyze current labor and material costs in the USA construction market.
    Prepare detailed cost estimates, factoring in labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
    Account for project-specific factors like location, labor rates, and potential challenges.
  2. Proposal Preparation:
    Create competitive proposals with detailed cost breakdowns and supporting documents.
    Ensure that the proposal submissions are accurate and timely.
  3. Project Documentation:
    Maintain detailed records of pricing data and project-related documentation.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and USA construction regulations.
    Identify process enhancements to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.
    Contribute to the development and refinement of company pricing standards.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in construction cost estimation. Experience with USA construction projects is highly desirable.

Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Other Requirements:

In-depth understanding of construction practices, materials, and industry standards.
Knowledge of USA material and labor rates.

Salary: Market competitive + other benefits

Work Schedule:

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Pakistan Time)
