We are looking for a skilled DevOps Architect with 7+ years of extensive experience in infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices. You must have strong expertise in the domain and be able to deliver quality results accordingly. The candidate should be flexible to work from 2PM to 11PM PKT.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead multidimensional projects involving multiple cross-functional teams.
  2. Design and review architecture and solutions alongside peers.
  3. Guide and mentor other software engineers on design best practices and code quality.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems and facilitate root cause analysis.
  5. Promote and uphold CI/CD principles in day-to-day engineering practices.
Requirements
  1. Must-have experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
  2. Should have 7+ years of experience.
  3. Hands-on experience using GitLab and GitHub, including their CI/CD capabilities.
  4. Administer, manage, and optimize Git repositories and workflows.
  5. Able to write scripts for GitHub workflows, actions, jobs, steps, etc.
  6. Integrate GitHub with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other tools to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
  7. Implement and enforce security best practices within GitHub, including access control, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.
  8. Ability to understand GitLab jobs and convert them into GitHub workflows. Ability to integrate security and configuration tools with GitHub.
  9. In-depth knowledge of GitLab administration, configuration, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  10. Proficiency with Git CLI, GitHub/GitLab APIs, scripting (Python, Bash), YAML, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, GitLab Runners, shell scripting.
  11. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with HarshiCorp and its integration with GitHub.
  12. Experience with SAST/DAST tools and their integration with GitHub.
  13. Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  14. Ability to write and modify Terraform scripts, maintaining scalable and reusable configurations.
  15. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  16. Manage Terraform state securely, including remote state management.
  17. Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring MVC, Data, Security).
  18. Deep understanding of Gradle, including build configuration, tasks, plugins, and optimization.
  19. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  20. Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including serverless or managed services.
  21. Exposure to messaging/event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
  22. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  23. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  24. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
